I am a bit lost again now - and am not sure whether to continue on with this series. I have had a few knock backs from publishers in the last few weeks and am thinking of self-publishing a book on drawing on drafting film. I think I know which dolls you mean - I just can't remember the names - was it Kewpie?Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01840364245091965136noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7889343485717851309.post-35545758637064283572010-03-29T04:16:58.184-07:002010-03-29T04:16:58.184-07:00While each of these make me smile, this hydrangea ...While each of these make me smile, this hydrangea sprite made me laugh out loud! What an infectious little face he has!! Hydrangeas are my favorite flower, second only to lilacs! Still...those green eyes of Thistle keep luring me back...

Now let's see...I think I am reminded a bit of the work of Anne Geddes, is it? And too, do you remember those little girls with the beautiful hair, so softly painted that were for...was it Breck shampoo? or a line of toilet paper? I think from back in the 60's...That is what I mean when I say some sort of trademark. Or they would make the most adorable cards! I'm not much of a marketing person and I sure would want to keep these as a collection, were I the artist...but there is such a broad appeal here, Karen! Wish I knew how to better express myself! LOL How gorgeous these would look in a bright, clean sunroom. Or wouldn't they look amazing in a bathroom too? (I am a firm believer of art in a bathroom! LOL) Or a nursery or children's room? You always get my mind thinking when I see your gorgeous art pieces!Autumn Leaveshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04010044052621228719noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7889343485717851309.post-34496691945803043602010-03-28T15:32:58.028-07:002010-03-28T15:32:58.028-07:00Thank you Deb - yes you are in the swing of spring...Thank you Deb - yes you are in the swing of spring where we are into Autumn now, so there aren't meany hydrangeas to be seen :)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01840364245091965136noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7889343485717851309.post-85065985373209978882010-03-28T14:08:00.562-07:002010-03-28T14:08:00.562-07:00My hydrangeas are just now blooming....They smell ...My hydrangeas are just now blooming....They smell heavenly!
