The only problem with the claybord, is the difficulty cutting it to the right size.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01840364245091965136noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7889343485717851309.post-19882567220603238472009-09-01T15:15:22.317-07:002009-09-01T15:15:22.317-07:00Another beautiful piece. Be gentle when scratching, and don't paint thickly with acrylics or you will be "fighting" it. Thinly you may just fall in love! I did a number of large pieces, unfortunately my wrist (carpal tunnel) didn't like the motion and rebeled. :-(Carol Andre'https://www.blogger.com/profile/01275080610972975558noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7889343485717851309.post-45996481101894320742009-08-31T00:10:17.967-07:002009-08-31T00:10:17.967-07:00Thankyou Yui!!!Thankyou Yui!!!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01840364245091965136noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7889343485717851309.post-42491547583520469462009-08-31T00:06:59.794-07:002009-08-31T00:06:59.794-07:00Hi! One thing I like to do with clayboard - and the technical artists will probably cringe reading this - Where there are white highlights, like the whiskers on this kitty, I like to use an exacto knife and actually cut them into the clay support. In some cases, it's fun to dig them deep so you actually get a bit of a shadow in your white highlight...a different effect.Debra Keircehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12391213568280558242noreply@blogger.com
