Meet Monk - a 15 year old blue heeler/terrier cross.
On a serious note, my thoughts are with any of you in the UK caught in the floods and I do hope they subside quickly for you. Thankfully for us, today isn't turning out to be quite as hot as the weather people predicted, and so back to work for me!!!

Beautiful portrait, as always! Monk's parents must be so happy to have it.
Just beautiful......really beautiful....as for the floods well Im from Ireland and we had floods too but not as bad...I hope this will shake the government up to listen more to enviromental groups.
Boy what a handsome boy Monk is! Your pet portraits are just absolutely exquisite, Karen! Just as an aside, I live in the US. I am saddened to hear that the UK is experiencing flooding though! It does happen here quite often as well, especially in late winter and early spring!
!!!!wonderful....!!!!
AS USUAL!!!!!!
Lovely Karen, I think your lighting is incredible in these commissions.
Just very windy for us, but not too much rain, we are lucky)
Thank you all Akiko, Bridie, Sherry, Arcobaleno and Sam for you truly wonderful comments!!!! And I agree Bridie, let's hope the governments do start to listen more!!!!
so much personality. You captured him perfectly.
Thank you so much Gary. Poor Monk definitely looks like a male, and I made the same mistake when talking to the customer, until she gently alerted me to the fact that Monk is in fact a girl LOL!!!!
Insanely GORGEOUS!!!!!!!!!!!
Ha, well male or female, you've done a great job. She is so sweet.
Thank you so much Barbara and Jade!!!!
