Do you find working on backgrounds a bit tedious or challenging? This 26 page tutorial has two sections to it. The first will guide you through how to create a background using the free image editing software Paint.NET, which you can then print straight onto your Stonehenge paper (or your own favourite art paper). The second section takes you through a step by step guide on how to draw this gorgeous Meerkat using ink and coloured pencils. For more information about this and other coloured pencil tutorials, please visit either www.karenhullart.com or my Etsy shop.

Very exciting news, the book looks interesting and your drawing looks great. I loved the last post which really showed him off well.
Thank you so much for your encouraging words Wendy - you always make me smile - although this is not really a book, but rather a pdf that I send via email. Maybe one day I will do an artbook, fingers crossed :)
You are so super organised....can I hire you for a week??
Well done Karen, fingers crossed for super sales!
I do go nuts when I'm not organised - bit of a control thing I think. You amaze me with how much you cram into your life. If you hired me we'd get absolutely nothing achieved - LOL !!! :)
