Coloured pencils on drafting film.
Today, Sydney shivered through it's coldest June day in 60 years (which probably isn't that cold compared to where many of my internet friends live around the world), and on these chilly days (which I love), there really is nothing more blissful than soaking in a nice hot bubble bath. I wasn't really happy with the face on Little Pig here, but couldn't seem to get it right - you get the general idea though!! :))

Gorgeous Karen, the mood is infectious. It's so cold here I think I'm about to hop in a hot tub myself!
Keep warm!
Cheers,
Cindy
PS My fingers got so numb with cold I couldn't type properly. Dug out the old riding gloves and they work a treat!
Love it... so cute and I do love the face. Superb work as always.
I adore your illustrations, they are so inspiring.
I have been shivering here in the Hunter for the last few days. Brrrrrr hope it warms up soon.
Thank you heaps Cindy and Dors - stay warm, both of you!!! xx
I LOVE this little pig series. They are so adorable!! It's great for a children's book.
Thank you Akiko - I'm not sure if they will go anywhere, but it's lovely to draw something a bit playful :))
I think the little pig looks awesome, especially the eyes! What truly blows me away, however, is the exquisite detailing on that old wooden tub! Beautiful work, as always Karen.
Thank you Sherry - the tub was the easy (and the fun part) - the hard part is creating consistency in a character's face, and this is one of the things I am trying to improve on with all these exercises.
