New Series of Illustrations - Little Pig's Bliss

Little Pig's Bliss - The Smell of Hot Apple Pie
5x7 inches
Coloured pencil on drafting film.

This is the first in a series of illustrations I will be doing featuring Little Pig, a cheeky piglet who's greatest pleasure is gained from the simple things in life, whether it is winter's first snowflakes, or a long soak in a hot tub. I have closed off all my stores for a month, to take a breather and to work on a few ideas that have been brewing. I welcome any suggestions you might like to share :))

How gorgeous this piece is! I am reminded of nursery rhymes (3 Little Pigs, the one with the pie full of crows)...Can't wait to see more!

Go Karen GO! I'm with Dors, this will be wonderful seeing this develop.

Have been offline for a bit but am back on board now.

I'm loving this little piglet & pie, and thought that your previous portrait of the children was so lovely.

I must admit that seeing your imaginative work, free of the constraints of following someone else's photos, is AMAZING.

More please!

Cheers,

Cindy

What a great idea Sam - I might use that one!!!
Thank you Sherry - I guess the nursery rhyme pigs are part of the inspiration for creating an appealing character - hopefully the series will progress well.
I missed you Cindy - hope all is OK in your neck of the woods!!! I have to admit doing these pieces is the most fun I have had with drawing - it is so free to work without having to be faithful to a reference photo!!!
