Commemmorative Coin Commission - Australian Cattle Dog

Australian Cattle Dog
Painted with Corel painter

I was approached last week to do a series of illustrations for commemorative coins for the Australian Coin Club. In so many ways, this is the kind of project I love to work on the most.

Fascinating to see from the link that these commemorative coins have areas of color in them Karen. What a great project and beautiful start!

I know Mona - they are so beautiful. I'm so very unobservant, I've never noticed them in the Post Office before, but I had a look at them this week and I think it will be an honour to have my artwork on these gorgeous coins. Thank you so much for your kind words!!! :)

Congratulations

Thank you so much Sue. I would honestly be happy with that. I like just plugging away - so long as the subject is appealing of course!!! :)

Thank you so much Dors for your lovely words - I hope so too, especially ones like I'm working on now, which really are enjoyable to work on.

What a fun project Caren! And they couldn't have picked a more talented artist for it. Beautiful job, as always!

Congratulations, Karen, for getting this exciting project! You are perfect for it.
I have never seen such colorful coins. There must be many collectors.

I had never seen them before either Akiko, but fell in love them when I saw them. I believe they sell out very quickly once they are released. Thank you so much for your kind words!!! :)
